I think I need braces again.  I still wear my retainers every night, but my teeth are slooowly going back to its original spot, which is making me a little nervous. I had crazy, whitetrash buckteeth. It didn’t help that one of the cards from Garbage Pail Kids had “Tusky Tiffany” either.

I wouldn’t mind wearing braces right now actually (Visaline is too expensive). I really liked it as a teenager. The pain felt quite nice (I know, I’m a creep!).

The only thing I hated about it, is that, when I would talk to strangers, they would usually bring up the topic of braces, asking if it’d hurt and stuff, which is fine, but they’d also ask, “Why do you need braces for? You don’t need them.”

Can you believe that shit? I usually say, “I ono” because giving them an honest answer might make them think that I’m trying to be a smartass.

“Because braces make your teeth straight…um yeah.”

I wish I got braces when I was younger. My teeth is perfectly straight EXCEPT for this one tooth on the right beside my top front teeth… and it’s totally my fault because I remember when it was loose, I was too chicken to pull it out and the new teeth started growing behind it while the old one was half dangling in my mouth. Ahahaha that sounds so nasty!

Tell them: Because I like the pain. They hurt in the most excruciating way possible but I wear them because I’m not right in the head like that. They will leave you alone after that, trust me. :)

I should be more like you and wear my retainers. The money that went into braces would’ve been a waste because the damn gap is coming back. It isn’t painful for me though. Well, not really anyway.

I got my braces off six months ago. Tomorrow I go in and get my bottom permanent retainer, removed. I was thinking it was the best idea in the world because it’s very noticeable and food gets caught in it. But I’m kinda weary about it. I wear my retainer nightly now, and I don’t know if I’m just getting used to my teeth, or I’m being extremely picking in thinking that they’re moving. They’re probably not though.

I paid four g’s out of my pocket. I don’t’ exactly want them to go back to the way they once were before. Though, I’ve only had them on for 18mths, not bad…considering some people have them for 2+ yrs.

I’ve had braces twice in my life. I think I might need them again too. I haven’t been wearing my retainers =_=”

Ugh, I absolutely hated braces. I “had” to have them twice, but I honestly don’t think I ever really needed them, and that the orthodontist just persuaded my parents into paying for them. I only wore my retainers for a month, they just hurt way too much, and like two years later my teeth are fine. One of the bottom ones is a little out of line, but it’s nothing very noticeable and I would totally rather have one slightly out of place tooth and ever ever ever have a mouth full of metal ever again D:

    *deep breath*
    lol.
