That’s sooo funny! I’ve never seen this show air on TV but I’m glad I didn’t see it at all. Stripping you of your looks can sometimes mean stripping you of who you are as well. They probably didn’t have any substance underneath to begin with.

Men are extremely shallow and I’m actually glad something like this is on. I remember this one movie I saw where a girl does a project and puts on a fat costume to see how people would perceive her if she was fat, and it was true to life how people treated someone skinny/beautiful vs overweight and slightly un attractive.

I agree with you… I know a couple hot people who are sooo boring it’s not even funny. When you go out, they just sit there the whole time. I think the only thing they know how to do is look pretty. =S

Let me tell you a story about being shallow:

I can be quite shallow. I saw this girl and she was hot. Real hot. Usually, I’m not one to come up to a random girl and ask them out on a date, but I did. Also uncharactaristically, she said yes.

I took her to a cafe in this artsy fartsy town in the mountains to get a cup of coffee. Let me tell you, man, about five minutes into the date, I was considering how quick I would die if I plunged my butterknife into my heart. She was boring, stupid and a BITCH. She hated my music, my taste in movies, she read idiotic books and made fun of me non-stop as though I were in high school all over again. She made fun of my SNEEZE, for god’s sake.

Never again. I made the vow and have kept it to never, ever, ever ask a hottie out on a whim again. You have to be friends first; that’s like the screening process.

huzzah! for slipping in that zoolander quote. and wow… that is a rather gross outfit. I always wonder about appearances too, why genetics makes us this way and if it’s for survival of the fittest. and in what sense? will the girl with the strongest personality win? hard to say… so hard to say.
