Yesterday, went to the bug fair for the very first time (101 Thing #2 COMPLETED SCHWEET!) and wanted to do two things while I was there: Hold a tarantula and a millipede.
I got to hold a tarantula (though a small one) and two hissing cockroaches, but no millipede! I might have to add that to my 101 Things. Handle a millipede. Simply because I think they’re awesome and I’d imagine it would feel quite orgasmic to have all their little legs crawl on my arms.

I have just two more pieces to make for my portfolio. Here are some of the most recent ones I’ve finished:
Daft Punk: 100% gradient mesh, done in Illustrator. I don’t think I ever want to do gradient mesh again.
Wall Cop: Photoshop. Yes, that is Robocop and Wall-E looking ever so…attracted to each other?
Book of Dwight Schrute’s Greatest Quotes: It’s fake, but boy do I wish it was real. Photoshop too.

For one of my first projects in school, I decided to do a gradient mesh and it took soooo long. The results were good but it was torture since it was my first time attempting it.

I can’t believe you held a tarantula. I’m not afraid of spiders, but I am DEATHLY afraid of tarantulas. I saw one under my car one time and, instantly, I got lightheaded and my nose bled. Yeah. I’m a penis.

Haha aww poor Billy. Tarantulas feel very soft and lovely, you should try it. But an uninvited tarantula under your car? That’s pretty terrifying I’d say.

TOTAL SHIVERS from seeing teh cockroach on your hand… X( I am scared to death of them… mostly from horror stories of flying cockroaches from when I was a kid D: awesome work!

i’m not a cockroach fan. a few weeks ago, i opened my folder and there was a cockroach on the first page! i get very squirmish around them.

Okay the bug thing disgusting, but for some odd reason, I want to hold a tarantula also. I’m trying to be nicer to bugs lately, and it helps when I give them names. I think the bug show would help me too.
