As someone who rarely goes out to have fun, I like taking pictures of myself when I’m getting ready ’cause one, I’m a girl, and two, it’s the only time I dress up and do my hair. Otherwise it’s just me, at home, wearing oversized t-shirts and basketball shorts, looking like a scrawny lesbian.

A couple of friends and I went out for some drinks at Dave & Busters. I had a peach martini and it was quite delicious. Surprisingly, I don’t get that “asian glow” when I drink alcohol, and I’m pretty grateful for that. Red’s just not a good look.
When the bar closed, some of us went went straight to Denny’s afterwards to have a nice big breakfast meal. I was a little bummed out that they didn’t have the Hobbit menu anymore, but nothing like a plate of sunny side up eggs, french toast, bacon and hash browns can satisfy my appetite.

We ended up not going home until 4 A.M. ish, which is something we haven’t done in a really long time together now that we’re actually adults, with jobs and bills to pay. But I had a really fun night with my friends. Now it’s back to the internet!

I feel yah on the part about looking like a scrawny lesbian at home. It looks like you had a lot of fun going out with your friends at Dave & Busters! You’re lucky for not getting that Asian glow. That makes you even cooler because you can get away without having a red face after one drink! Spending time til 4AM sounds like a blast. And it’s good to have friends that you can still hang out with when you all find time and such.
Welcome back to the internet

Awww you looked beautiful! Seems like you had fun with your friends. Maybe you should do it more often? I find it amazing that you can go all night. I did it once, and I was super tired all day long! I never did it again. And when I do, I always catch some sleep afterwards.

haha, I do the same thing at home. All of those free T-shirts I got in college end up as PJs or just stay-at-home clothing. I love your outfit, especially your cardigan!
I’m jealous that you don’t get the “Asian glow”. I can’t even have a small cocktail without getting it immediately, which makes me look drunk.
I’m glad you had a fun night!

I need one of these nights so bad, it’s been a longggg time lol. Too bad we moved to the middle of nowhere and I know absolutely no one. Oh and I’m a mom… Oh well I can dream lol.
Glad you had fun though!

We did the same thing (almost!) yesterday!! Only I had coffee wih friend and went home at around 2am. It’s actually my first time to go out until the wee hours of the morning since having a kid , and my kid is now 2! (sad, I know) so going out for coffee for me feels the same as going out and having cocktails. (again, lame) plus when I woke up today, I cooked sunny side up eggs, toast my bread and baconzzzzz!!! for breakfast. See? Almost the same right.
*i had a hard time typing the word cooked because I can’t decide the right spelling if it’s cocked or coocked which are both ridiculous. This is the fault of sending daily texts. I hate text messaging

You look great girl! I wish I had more self confidence to become more photogenic. I don’t like taking pictures. When I do, I find myself deleting them until I find the perfect pose and smile.
Looks like you had a pretty good time! I need to get out more and have fun.

HAHA scrawny lesbian describes my at-home look pretty well. It’s only the second reason I don’t like to chat on webcam. First is that it’s damn annoying, of course.
I am completely jealous of anyone who doesn’t get the Asian glow. If I even take a sip of alcohol, you can easily tell.
I’m still waiting until I am “old enough” to be out partying with friends. Yeah I’m not much younger than you, but apparently my lifestyle doesn’t allow for that at all. Once I graduate, things are going to change …

“I like taking pictures of myself when I’m getting ready ’cause one, I’m a girl…”
Haha. I have a guy friend who always gives remarks on my camwhorage. The first time I got my smartphone, which was just last November, he told me, “That phone is turning you into a camwhore, take it to Mt Doom.” (cos see, it’s rare that I take photos of myself) And I was like, “I’m a girl?!?” Not that camwhorage is limited to just one gender, but, you know… to girls, it’s like… it comes out naturally.
Also, BREAKFAST MEALS FTW!

I miss going out with my college friends. We’d have this late-night drunk fests followed by ghost hunting at abandoned estates (we have a lot of that here because where I live used to be a mountain resort city) and then capped by having dozens of donuts and coffee at 7 or 8ish, then we all go home and talk about what we did for days.
For the past couple of years as an adult (read: having a full time job and all) i mainly went out with office mates turned awesome friends, which always ends up with me crawling back home super drunk and not remembering half of what happened the following day. Adults…heh.
