One of my incredibly useless New Year’s resolutions is to find and purchase different types of pair of shoes that come in leopard prints. I have always adored leopard print and I think they look especially great on shoes.

For this year I made my first purchase on a leopard printed pair of creepers. I bought my first pair of creepers back in the summer of 2011, and I’m glad it wasn’t a phase or anything because I still wear them to this day.

Another one of my New Year’s resolution that I’d love to uh, resolve, is to finally finish the Lady Deathstrike costume that I’ve been putting off, and work on more new costumes afterwards. I’ve realized the closer you are to finishing a costume, the harder it gets (it’s attaching them to your body that’s hard!!). I’ve been working on her costume on and off and I think it’s time we finish her and give her the photoshoot that she deserves.

I also just bought $150 worth of crafting supplies so you know I ain’t joking around.

I don’t think I could pull off creepers, so I totally give your props (especially for going at it with leopard print)!
Those claws look crazy haha. Did you buy the plates that went into the armour or did you have to make them yourself? I hardly have enough creativity to come up with a costume for halloween every year; I could not imagine doing what you’re doing. It looks awesome though!

    Hey thanks Tori!

I bought a roll of thermoplastic sheets and cut and mold them myself, so yes I made all of them. :)

Excuse me while I just start stupidly at the computer in utter awe. That’s beyond my comprehension of creativity. I can’t wait to see the finished costume!

Your “incredibly useless” resolutions are so much incredibly cooler. I’ve never actually seen anyone pull off leopard print well, though I see them more often in pants. I think they do look nice in those creepers, because they are subtle. I’m not too sure about the obnoxious Coach-style printing that most patterns will be in.

Here’s another person I meet who makes costumes. Why did I not hire one of you for my elective’s assignment last semester? I had to make just a mask, and it killed me. I am never taking an unrelated class again.

The shoes looks cool! I hope by december, you’d make a post featuring the shoes you’ve collected through out the entire year! :)

The costume looks… difficult and such a hard work. Kudos! I swear some people would love to commission you for cosplay costumes. :)

I’ve never seen creepers, but they look so/pretty interesting! Quite cool, actually. :D However, I don’t think I would wear them myself. :p

The costume looks amazing, from what I can see. :p

…nice crayon scribble on the dryer. ;) (or is it a washer?)

Cute shoes! I like the way the leopard print is on the shoes, instead of having the pattern on the whole thing. It stands out without being “too much” :)

Wow, your costume is looking great :D I’m always amazed by people who make armor. One of these days, I’d like to try it too instead of sewing everything. I can’t wait to see it finished!

(And I still wished I lived near you because I would love doing photoshoots for your costumes XD)

I love your mission. I love leopard print, I have one pair of leopard print shoes…but I don’t wear them as often as I should. I do have a pair of blue leopard print combat boots (look more like work boots) I wear in the snow and to metal concerts. And I have random bits of clothing that are leopard print. Once I get a job and the money saved I’m even getting a spot of skin ink’d with leopard spots.

I’ve always wanted a pair of creepers but it’s SUPER hard to find them in the area I live. :( And I can’t order then online because the size of shoe I wear depends on who makes it. Van’s I wear a size 4, but the boots I got for Christmas are size 2. Creepers look great on a rockabilly guy playing the upright bass – yum.

Yes, when you get closer and closer to the end of a cosplay it gets harder to finish. Not only with cosplay but I’m like that with any piece of clothing I make. It’s kind of like not wanting the fun to end.

Awesome work so far! I’ve wanted to try fabricating, but I haven’t found a character that would be easy for someones first time, and one that I wouldn’t have to buy a wig for. The only wig I have is shoulder length black with blunt bangs.

I never thought I’d think leopard print looks good on anything but they look pretty darn good on shoes.

I’m so jealous of your talent at making costumes. I never had the time (nor apparently the resources) to do anything like that. Although you kind of inspire me to give it a serious try ^__^ I can’t wait to see the finished product!

Leopard print is awesome and so are those shoes. I didn’t know what a ‘creeper’ shoe was until reading this post. I’m so lame. I just called them platform shoes, lol. You make me want to get a pair. Google brought up a ton of styles.

That costume is insane! Love it. Can’t wait to see it finished.
