Shabu Shabu, I love you.

If you asked what my #1 favorite food would be, it would definitely be shabu shabu. I really can’t find the corrects words to describe the taste, because it’s that good, and THAT overwhelming…or maybe I’m just really bad at providing description, but trust me it’s delicious.  What I CAN tell you is that, according to the boyfriend, the Japanese called it shabu shabu because the sound that it makes when you dip the meat in the boiled water makes a “shabu shabu” noise…so the American equivalent would possibly be “swish swish!”. Ha, only more reasons to love it.

We ate Shabu Shabu last night at Shabu Shabuyo, Japanese cuisine.

I recommend getting the beef.

Oh, and your burps even taste delicious afterward.

Rice, ponzu sauce and a plate of veggies to go along with your meat =)

It gets a little depressing when they disappear one by one.
