Finally, my sister and I had the chance to put up the Christmas tree the other day (I know, I’m a little late!).  It took a pretty long time to finish, there was so much shit to hang and tie and wrap and sprinkle that I almost gave up halfway, but we made it! And we did a a good job.

Picture on the left. Is it the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen or is it the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?

I just bought a PC game called Left 4 Dead and it practically owns my life, which explains why I haven’t really been on the internet lately or even outside for that matter.  I’m not a hardcore gamer.  I tend to have very little patience with video games and I get bored quickly, but when I find a really good game, I’d clear my schedule out and say peace out to my family, friends, boyfriends, and pets just to make (big) room for some serious 24/7 gaming.

Left 4 Dead is one of those few games that kicked me in the groin, grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and said, “This game is pretty badass, so get into it motherfucker”. It lured me right in from the moment I started watching the introduction:

Knowing that I was about to get myself into THAT kind of crap was remarkably frightening, intimindating and nerve racking, and if a game can make me feel all of the three then it should certainly be worth the try.

I played it, and lots of it. There were a lot of sleepless nights, relentless starvation and ruined friendships (not really =P) because of this game. Yes, it is that good.

L4D is nominated for a couple of awards for Spike TV’s Video Game Awards (I will be attending!), and it deserves to win every single category, especially for best multiplayer game.

*is off to play L4D*

You will always be remembered. :-/

Happier notes:

I have a new layout, and I really dig it!  I decided to put up a new one, because I like change and I was starting to miss having widgets.  I am wost without widgets.

I won a MAC lipstick from Katy and received the packaged prize yesterday.  Thanks, I love it!@#!

On Thanksgiving, my family and I made so much food that we get to eat Thanksgiving leftovers for probably a week long.

Unrelated note:

I just had deja vu right after typing the last sentence. Weird. Perhaps I had Thanksgiving leftovers for last years Thanksgiving?

So my 21st birthday was on the 17th (last Monday) and I thought it’d be really, really awesome to buy myself a new computer since it’s my birthday and all. And plus, the older computer I had was a piece of shit so I didn’t mind spending a lot of money on something that should last me for a while.

Ah, yeah, that’s her…smooth, soft, and silky (Pablo Francisco ftw!).  So far, I’m really digging my new desktop.  It’s great! Everything’s pretty much in the monitor (speakers, CPU, etc), you could barely hear it running, and it’s incredibly sleek! I have Windows Vista now and it isn’t as bad as I had anticipated, but the only problem is that I can’t transfer my Photoshop CS (downloaded it) into the new one…sooo I’m probably going to have to purchase the actual latest software which is CS4. Doh!

The thought of me being 21 years old hasn’t really kicked in.   I guess it’s because I haven’t been in a situation that had a 21 age limit, but when that time comes I’m certain that I will smile and appreciate it and say ridiculous things like, “BOOM. Here’s my I.D., I am 21 motherfucker! Huzzah!”

Clearly, I have no idea what’s going to be in store for me in the future, as a 21-year-old, but I heard it’s the “best” age to be, and then it starts to go downhill after that, slowly but surely. Hah. We will see.
