Finally, my sister and I had the chance to put up the Christmas tree the other day (I know, I’m a little late!). It took a pretty long time to finish, there was so much shit to hang and tie and wrap and sprinkle that I almost gave up halfway, but we made it! And we did a a good job.

Picture on the left. Is it the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen or is it the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?

I just bought a PC game called Left 4 Dead and it practically owns my life, which explains why I haven’t really been on the internet lately or even outside for that matter. I’m not a hardcore gamer. I tend to have very little patience with video games and I get bored quickly, but when I find a really good game, I’d clear my schedule out and say peace out to my family, friends, boyfriends, and pets just to make (big) room for some serious 24/7 gaming.

Left 4 Dead is one of those few games that kicked me in the groin, grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and said, “This game is pretty badass, so get into it motherfucker”. It lured me right in from the moment I started watching the introduction:

Knowing that I was about to get myself into THAT kind of crap was remarkably frightening, intimindating and nerve racking, and if a game can make me feel all of the three then it should certainly be worth the try.

I played it, and lots of it. There were a lot of sleepless nights, relentless starvation and ruined friendships (not really =P) because of this game. Yes, it is that good.

L4D is nominated for a couple of awards for Spike TV’s Video Game Awards (I will be attending!), and it deserves to win every single category, especially for best multiplayer game.

*is off to play L4D*

Happier notes:

I have a new layout, and I really dig it! I decided to put up a new one, because I like change and I was starting to miss having widgets. I am wost without widgets.

I won a MAC lipstick from Katy and received the packaged prize yesterday. Thanks, I love it!@#!

On Thanksgiving, my family and I made so much food that we get to eat Thanksgiving leftovers for probably a week long.

Unrelated note:

I just had deja vu right after typing the last sentence. Weird. Perhaps I had Thanksgiving leftovers for last years Thanksgiving?

So my 21st birthday was on the 17th (last Monday) and I thought it’d be really, really awesome to buy myself a new computer since it’s my birthday and all. And plus, the older computer I had was a piece of shit so I didn’t mind spending a lot of money on something that should last me for a while.

Ah, yeah, that’s her…smooth, soft, and silky (Pablo Francisco ftw!). So far, I’m really digging my new desktop. It’s great! Everything’s pretty much in the monitor (speakers, CPU, etc), you could barely hear it running, and it’s incredibly sleek! I have Windows Vista now and it isn’t as bad as I had anticipated, but the only problem is that I can’t transfer my Photoshop CS (downloaded it) into the new one…sooo I’m probably going to have to purchase the actual latest software which is CS4. Doh!

The thought of me being 21 years old hasn’t really kicked in. I guess it’s because I haven’t been in a situation that had a 21 age limit, but when that time comes I’m certain that I will smile and appreciate it and say ridiculous things like, “BOOM. Here’s my I.D., I am 21 motherfucker! Huzzah!”

Clearly, I have no idea what’s going to be in store for me in the future, as a 21-year-old, but I heard it’s the “best” age to be, and then it starts to go downhill after that, slowly but surely. Hah. We will see.

Why won’t he marry me? Why won’t he propose?! Awwww WAH! Shat up. Pressuring someone to do something they’re not ready to is always bad news, so stop pressuring them or else, later down the road, they’ll find themselves asking:

Man, google sure knows everything. Speaking of the internet knowing shit, GenderAnalyzer.com can tell whether your blog was written by a man or woman. I entered my website in and received:

Why that is correct GenderAnalyzer, I am indeed a woman! I’ve been entering in most of my friends’ blogs, and GenderAnalyzer guessed every one of them correctly…except for one of my art teacher’s blog. He received 95% woman. Um….HAHA!

What did you get?

And if anyone cares, I went shopping today and bought a burger keychain (I was actually serious about collecting burger items), A Jason Voorhees plushie (I’m starting to collect toys from Cinema of Fear), and a pink plaided Ushanka (I collect awesome hats). Basically, I’m a collector of sorts, and today was my lucky collecting day.

Is there such a word that means the opposite of writer’s block? Because I think I’m getting it and I feel like I have to get it all out of my system before my head blows up. I have 101 things I want to talk about and right now, nothing would be more fulfilling than to sit in front of my computer all day and just type away.

Sadly, it’s going to be a busy day for me, so I can’t really release my inner beast of nonstop, hardcore mad typage. Maybe some other time, but I will make this one brief (since it’s a “what-I-did-on-the-weekends” type of entry).

My Avex audition, which was last Sunday, didn’t go according to plan…haha. I had a prepared monologue that I wrote myself, studied it for a couple of days, and thought that I had it in the bag. I rehearsed right before it was my time to audition; everything seemed pretty peachy…up until I went on stage!

I completely forgot everything I had memorized when I was up in front of the panel. I was basically making shit up as I went! The talent search is going to be in New York this weekend, so I don’t think I’m going to find out whether I move to the next level or not for a couple of weeks.

Oh yeah, and the audition was held at that mall on Hollywood Blvd, next to the Chinese theater. When I was there, there was like, a red carpet event for the dvd release of Kung Fu Panda going on during my audition, and it took place right outside of the mall. I didn’t know this until the day after but…fucking Angelina Jolie was there! And I could’ve seen her hotness in person, after my audition….FUCK!

Right after my audition, I had to go to a photoshoot for the last film that I was in. The photographer (the guy holding the guns in the picture) took some great photos of the cast and myself. There were over 600 frames shot, but I only have about five of them! Gah! I want the rest gawdamnit!

More in the Flickr.

I think I need braces again. I still wear my retainers every night, but my teeth are slooowly going back to its original spot, which is making me a little nervous. I had crazy, whitetrash buckteeth. It didn’t help that one of the cards from Garbage Pail Kids had “Tusky Tiffany” either.

I wouldn’t mind wearing braces right now actually (Visaline is too expensive). I really liked it as a teenager. The pain felt quite nice (I know, I’m a creep!).

The only thing I hated about it, is that, when I would talk to strangers, they would usually bring up the topic of braces, asking if it’d hurt and stuff, which is fine, but they’d also ask, “Why do you need braces for? You don’t need them.”

Can you believe that shit? I usually say, “I ono” because giving them an honest answer might make them think that I’m trying to be a smartass.

“Because braces make your teeth straight…um yeah.”

So what did you guys think of this year’s VMAs?

I hated it. I really didn’t like any of the performances either. And I guess it’s cool that MTV used Paramount studios to create like, movie-like scenes and meshed them with some of the performances, but what totally sucks is that none of the performers really took advantage of that.

Yeah, you have stuff blowing up, and there’s Pink breaking mirrors and windows, which is typical of her to break shit, but seriously, where’s the wow factor in that? They were all boring as hell.

Also, the awards took place literally at like a small venue, and the capacity of the room (yes, ROOM) could probably hold a little over a hundred. Or even less. You know, that explains a lot though, I was checking out the prices of the tickets to the VMAs a while ago and all of them cost at least a thousand bucks. The cheapest ones usually cost around hundred.

But anyway, I’ve watched every VMAs ever since I was a little youngster, and every VMAs was always held at some large, extravagant amphitheater, so to bring the VMAs into a small, cheap space for the first time makes me feel claustrophobic and not as privileged.

And the host—Russell Brand—isn’t that funny, at least not in the awards show. He talked about the Jonas Brothers the most, and the fact that all three of them have purity rings. None of the jokes referring to the “Jo Bros” wasn’t even close to funny, but Brand wouldn’t give it a rest.

To conclude, VMAs is the worst VMAs of all time. It definitely did not measure up to their previous awards show. It was at the lowest of low. It was the suckiest of sucked. Host sucked. Setting sucked. Performances all sucked. I want my three hours back.

Just when I thought the Olympics wouldn’t be exciting anymore now that Michael Phelps is done in competing for swimming, which by the way, if you’ve been living under a rock, he earned all eight gold medals in all eight of his finals (yeah, psssssss hot), the US women’s and men’s beach volleyball team came to our rescue by taking took gold! Jes! Both of them!

I watched both of the games and both were tremendously thrilling to watch since it certainly wasn’t an easy game for both teams. It’s usually seems easy for them to win because they’re always ahead of the game—I’m always expecting them to win. However, in the finals, their opponents were as skilled as they were, and for the first time in beach volley history, fear had struck my heart.

In the end, they (we) won. A huge congratulation to Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh from the women’s team, and Philip Dalhausser (HOT) and Todd Rogers from the men’s. You guys deserve every bit of that gold medal.

Now I’ll be waiting for The Redeem Team aka US men’s basketball team to “redeem” themselves.

Back to my life, I just received my dvd of Dexter season 2 in the mail and I’m excited to watch it…after the Olympics are over of course! I don’t have Showtime, so this is going to be my first time watching it.

Acting is going fine. I have a script I have to go over asap, since I’ll be filming for an indie film tomorrow. I decided not to go to school for a semester…possibly for a whole year just to pursue acting. I actually don’t want to go to school anymore, but I’ll just tell them that I’m taking a “break”. My mom’s obviously not happy about it, and it bugs me the crap out of me.

My whole family plays it safe. They believe that if you drop out of college, you automatically have no future, which is absolutely not true at all.

When I transferred to a university, I found out that I had to take a year’s worth of general ed. Yeah, I have to waste my future away by taking MORE useless classes that doesn’t have anything to do with my major for a full year, and it’s all for some college degree.

Anyways, I’m not saying that everyone shouldn’t go to college I just don’t think I need it at the moment.

Oh shit I’m going to Comic-Con in a week! Oh shiEeeYUT! Remember how I mentioned I was going to dress up like one of those Tokidoki chicks? I might not be able to. I’m still not sure what to use to draw in the tattoos with, which is the only dilemma I have to deal with.

When I’m there in San Diego I’m also going to be attending Video Games Lives. There’s this orchestra that performs in front of a screen, showing video game footages (new and old) and they basically start playing video game music that is corresponding to whatever is playing on the screen.

In fact, here’s a video of one of their concerts:

I am so thrilled about all of this, and it’s going to be my little vacation from looking for work all the time as an actor, hence my lack of update on this site.

I did not get cast for that one commercial I talked about previously, and if you’re curious as to what company the commercials going to be on, it’s AT&T. Yeah, ouch, but you move on and you learn from it right? Though I think I might’ve landed a spot for a different commercial- I’ll know for sure by Sunday.

With acting, there are times where I’m thinking “Shit, what am I getting myself into?” It’s tough especially when you’re jobless and you’re always driving an hour to Hollywood, but I’m going to keep on truckin and hopefully I’m be able to make ends meet.

After I had quit my job, I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t be retarded and buy retarded stuff that I wouldn’t need.

Well…let me start over that promise again. I found a pair of really hot and stylish gladiator wedges today, and only problem was that it came in two really good colors that I could totally rock, brown and black.

When I can’t decide between two colors, my instincts would tell me to buy both of them, and that’s exactly what I did, I followed my instincts. I know, I know, I’m going to be homeless and end up selling counterfeit designer bags, like cuuchi and channel , on the streets if I don’t stop this addiction.

There are women who can’t stop shopping for clothes, makeup, accessories, and or bags. I just can’t stop buying shoes, and btw, I need another separate closet for my shoes, because that shit is taking up space, for real.

So if any of you guys catch me at the mall (which has happened before), and I’m about to swipe my card, please don’t hesitate to slap my hand from swiping. I won’t hold it against you.

And yah, I did have to pose with them and take pictures-they were THAT hot. The brown ones go with a lot more outfits. And I guess I could wear the black ones whenever I’m feeling a little dominatrix-y.
